L'Etage is above Beau Monde at 6th & Bainbridge streets, Philadelphia. There is no cover. downtempo nu-world lounge.

BIO

A passion for electronic music and a trip to India in '98, culminated in Geoff Weiser's first dj night, TABLA. His knowledge of Indian electronic music led to a residency at SAFFRON SOUL in New York City. While exploring this emerging genre, he noticed a trend in which downtempo electronic music was being combined with Brazilian, Jamaican, French, Latin, Arabic, and Gypsy influences. As his collection grew, he sought new ways of sharing this exciting music, leading to a job as music buyer for the Starr Restaurant Organization. He finally found a home for his sound in the French lounge, L'Etage. With JETLAG he continues to explore and share nu-world music.
